Flag
The national colours of the Duchy of Bouillon were red, white and red (arranged horizontally).
During the revolutionary period (1794-1795), the seal of the Bouillon republic represented a rock with several shrubs, a river below and a hoe and a trowel crossed above, with the words: Assembly of the Representatives of the people of Bouillon. The national colours chosen at that time were white, red and black. (Les Communes Luxembourgeoises - Emile Tandel - 1893).
On 25 August 2003, Mr Christian Dupont, Minister of Belgium's French-speaking Community, in charge of culture, the civil service, youth and sports officially recognized the flag of the town of Bouillon, made up exclusively of the old colours of the sovereign Duchy of Bouillon.
