As the municipality is a local institution, it is essentially the level of authority to which citizens feel the closest. In effect, a number of mandatory administrative procedures have to be carried out in your municipality. On the political level also, the municipality is a local authority: it has responsibilities in very varied areas. However, all of them concern you closely.
But for all that, how well do you know your municipality?
More particularly, do you understand the workings of its political life? Who does what? What is the college? And the council? How can you take part in municipal political life? And, basically, who are your elected representatives?
